Leia stood on the bridge of her command, her hands on her swollen belly and waited for The Millennium Falcon to emerge from light speed. Her breath caught as the battered Corellian freighter didn't disappoint her.
"This is Han Solo of The Millennium Falcon asking for permission to dock."
"Permission granted Falcon," Leia said, continuing to look through the star field.
"I'm sorry it's taken so long bring him back to you," Luke said, approaching Leia.
"Is he okay? Leia asked.
"He is," Han said.
"Have you told him?" Leia asked, tilting her head toward Luke.
"It wasn't my place," Luke said.
Reaching for Han's hand from where he stood behind her, placed it on her belly and waited for his reaction.
"Mine?" Han asked.
"You know she is," Leia said.
Han took Leia by her biceps, turned her around, putting his hands on her cheeks and kissed her with love and affection. "Love you," Han said.
"I know," Leia said, "but I have no expectations. You didn't sign-up for this. It was my choice."
"And we're going to raise her together," Han said. Chewbacca and Lando looked at each other proud that they'd reunited their friend with his beloved.
