Summary
After the near collapse of society and the human race, many countries worldwide adopted a program called 'the Gestation' wherein men and women would become pregnant each year on their birthdays from the ages of fifteen until forty-five. They would be inseminated on their birthdays, give birth nine months later, and rest for the next few months until it was their birthdays yet again, rinse and repeat.
Dorian Turner is a fifteen year-old boy living in suburban America. This is his life story told through his or his friends and family's pregnancies spanning thirty years.
