Every winter without fail Steve Rogers falls deathly ill - pneumonia, influenza, even a common cold could take the guy out - and without fail Bucky Barnes is there to nurse him back to life. If he could find a skirt in his size, he might be considered a professional, Lord knows he could with all the practice he’s had. Hell, it probably pays better than working a shipyard. The price of medication has gone up while his wages stay the same. And Steve can hardly work, much less get outta bed. Finding a stable job that accommodates his excessive sick leave is hard to say the least. Not that Bucky minds picking up the extra shifts to cover the price of antibiotics, it's the fact that there’s no one home from five am to well past seven pm to keep an eye on Steve.
