Sometimes I miss Tegan. I admit I was stung, not that she left, but how she left. Of course, I keep my own counsel on this. I don't need advice; she's gone and that's that. Is she all right? Is she safe? Is she happy? No one can tell me that.
There was a time I'd have said "good riddance." That's my foolishness. But nothing lasts forever, right?
I dreamt about her recently; she instructed me, "Brave heart, Doctor." (Somewhere, with her own brave heart, she worries about me too.) Afterwards I annoyed Turlough by smiling foolishly for two days.
