Once a radiant being of healing and magic, Duskheart was one of the two ancient creators of Hoshigumo Isle. After her soulmate Hoshigumo sacrificed himself to breathe life into the island, Duskheart’s grief led her to awaken a forbidden force—the Nightglow. Now bound and twisted by it, she exists as both prisoner and weapon, lashing out through illusions, emotional storms, and sorrow-tainted magic. Deep down, her true soul still longs for love, memory, and release.

The Nightglow

Brief Description:
A cursed, living crystal sealed deep beneath the island, framed in gold and bone. It was born from forbidden resurrection magic and now feeds on fear, grief, and the world’s forgotten pain. The Nightglow grows stronger as despair spreads in the outside world. It manipulates Duskheart, speaks through her, and corrupts those who listen to its voice. It is not just a relic—it is the cage that holds a grieving heart, and the threat that may consume Hoshigumo Isle.
