Summary
What happens next is usually unremarkable. The two of them take turns in the shower, a few words are said, a glass of water is exchanged, and perhaps they’ll cuddle for a few moments before eventually heading back to their duties. It’s a routine that’s the inevitable contrast to their usual interactions of bickering and teasing.
It changes tonight, when Banhammer simply looks at him up and down from his spot on the bed and says six words Katana wasn’t expecting:
“Let me take care of you.”
Or aftercare between two people who don't really know what they're doing.
