   Summary

   Jesper, the gunner master of the well-known pirate vessel called the Slat, is sent with his mate Nina to the court of Ketterdam. Here, they must get rid of the king's privateers—and of the ships—that could threaten the Dregs in the future.
   Jesper should also seduce the prince so that he doesn't see what they're doing, but Wylan Van Eck is more clever than expected.
   And crap, that delightful, breathtaking laughter of his literally roames free in his mind.
   He knows this is going to ruin everything. He doesn't care.
