Summary
Eight years after the war ends, Hermione Granger is an accomplished Auror and has spent the last few months investigating a recent surge of illegal dreamless sleep laboratories. A stakeout-gone-wrong leaves her a turned vampire and afflicted with The Sight, a nasty, Medusa-esque curse that turns anyone who looks into her eyes into a vampire too. At least, anyone who isn’t already afflicted with their own condition….
Draco Malfoy has been a recluse for the better part of a decade, and no one seems to know why. The Department for Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures converted the Manor into a safehouse for newly-turned magical beings, and Hermione is the first to set foot there in years. She realizes quickly why there have been reports in Wiltshire of howling at the moon…
