Better than neutral. Primed. Gill looked at her with fresh eyes after Bristol, ostensibly setting the foundation for Rachel’s place in her wildest fantasies. Well, maybe not wildest. And sure, it was only for twenty-four hours, but if she could pull it off, London could be the house erected on that foundation. A grand, elegant house, like Kensington Palace.
