Summary
What if the Bridgerton family hadn't been understanding when Penelope revealed herself as Lady Whistledown? What if Violet's guilt at the falling out led the Bridgerton's to try to apologize to Penelope who was never going to accept it after the hateful words they threw at her?
What if Penelope is with child with no intention of telling anyone until they notice it for themselves, but no one visits her and she doesn't go out?
What if this is a story about how saying "I love you" has nothing to do with meaning it and how to come back to a place of acceptance and love?
