Summary
A queen. An assassin. A coward. A kingdom doomed by a King who fears death. Who will take the crown?
Skylar has the ability to manipulate air but she’s always been too petrified of the height to fly. She’s terrified of many more things than just heights, including the king’s obedient soldiers who once took her mother from her and have now taken her brother.Phoebe wakes up alone, with no memories, and a skill set befitting that of an assassin. When she is taken prisoner by the Rebels, she finds a sister she despises, childhood memories she’d rather forget, and a cursed power linking her to the woman she ran from.
Siria’s throne and sister were stolen from her when her father tried to kill her. Once she discovers he is planning to summon a Saint too powerful for the world to host, she knows she’ll have to stop him, even if it means plunging a knife through the heart of the only person who truly knows her.
With only a few weeks until the king will perform a ritual that will tear at the fabric of the universe, they must find a way to work together so they can each get the revenge they seek.
