Summary
.. Dazai was used to the feeling. Ever since he knew he was.. a “he.” Ever since his body grew in ways that made him sick. repulsed. despaired. He wanted to peel off his skin, morph himself into something else, something new. This feeling was not new to him. He was 12 when he made the discovery, and of course once he got his first period it made the feeling worse. He wanted to disappear.
Eventually he was introduced to the strange doctor, Mori, he was called. Who promised to give him a way to change. A false promise of freedom. A way out.
