Summary
They've committed mutiny.
Odysseus is a man, a captain, and a KING- never once has he ever felt fear, not even while seeing the blood of their enemies back in Troy. He did what he could to get back to his Penelope and Telemachus.
But now- Odysseus couldn't help the way his body froze at the sight of lightning in the sky as he clutched his side, the stab wound still very much leaking blood, slowly making him bleed out. He couldn't think of that right now.
He's more concerned with the God of lightning in the sky, staring at him with a hint of amusement as he basked in the screams and agony of him and his men. They're going to die. He's going to die without seeing his Penelope and without a clear vision of his lovely boy, Telemachus- this couldn't be where he dies. Not now- not when it took him so long to get here. He needs to think of a plan, and fast.
OR: After the events of the song Mutiny, Odysseus and his crew are confronted by the God of the skies, forcing Ody to make a choice. Not wanting to harbor the guilt of killing the rest of his men, Odysseus finds another way to persuade Zeus (He hated every second of it)
