   Summary

   They knew that despite the great difficulty of defeating The End, it wouldn't be “that easy.” His morbid words still tear through Sonic's mind, not letting him sleep at night even after his team's victory.
   Eggman was silent, everything was eerily quiet. They seemed to have finally achieved the peace they dreamed of, ever since Eggman carried out his first attack against the Mobians.
   But the blue hedgehog didn't trust that peace. He knew something was wrong, and it could show at any moment.
