Chapter Text
There were few things Kitty loved more than Christmas. Balloons, maybe, but she really did love Christmas. For hundreds of years, it was always the same — she anticipated it all year, watching anxiously as other holidays and seasons came and went. And then, each December: glory! She basked in the bitter English winter, the crisp white landscapes, the cheery decor.
The only thing she didn’t look forward to was the obvious frustration of her other ghostly companions during the Christmas season. None of them could accept their un-involvement in the festivities — she saw the memories of life and physicality flicker in their eyes.
She always found it easy to find the light in a situation, but her friends were not blessed in this way, and she desperately wished to help them.
