It wasn’t Nick’s luckiest day. He failed his test, tried baking brownies but had no dark chocolate, and found only one bar left at the store.
The line was unbearably long, weaving in an S shape— too narrow for him, too close to people.
Scrolling on IG to pass the time, he heard a laugh. Looking up, he met a stunning pair of blue eyes. “Oh, so you’re the one who took the last dark chocolate bar!”
A charming boy with dark chocolate curls stood there, smiling. Nick grinned. “I was saving that one for you!”. It was a very lucky day after all.

It was definitely not Nick’s luckiest day.
First he failed his test, at home he tried to bake a dark chocolate brownie to decompress but he was missing said dark chocolate.
When in the market, he needed 3 bars and there were only one left (well, better one than none).
All the cashiers were out due to a system problem (there’s always a problem with the cis-tem ahaha he laughed to himself) and there was just one operating.
The line were soooo long, doing an S kind of shape to keep things organized… he hated that S kind of line, too close to people you don’t know, too narrow lane for him… see, not the best day.
He was killing time doom scrolling on IG when he heard a little laugh and looked up to the most beautiful set of blue eyes “oh, so you’re the one who took the last dark chocolate bar!”.
A charming boy, also in line, with a full head of dark chocolate curly hair.
Nick gave the only logical response “I was saving that one for you!”. And just like that Nick was facing the most beautiful smirk he’s ever seen sprinkled with a set of the most charming dimples. It was a very lucky day after all.
