"We'll be reaching our destination in about five hours. Turning auto-pilot on." Said Jimmy over the microphone as he drives the tortuga. "Rodger that, JZ!" Koki responded. "Five hours? That's a long time." She leaned back into her chair then began to look through her to-do list for today again. All completed. Defeated. "Anything that I can help you with, Aviva?" She walks over to her and takes a closer look at her screen.
"Yeah, actually. I'm working on my new invention, and I need help to build it." Aviva hands her several drafts of blueprints filled with post-it notes all over it. Koki scans through the blueprints, "Got it. Let's get started then." They gathered their tools and headed towards the garage.
"Aw, Martin, I finished organizing my power disks in alphabetical order, and there's like five hours left before we get there." Chris complained. "You can organize mine." Martin yawns as he takes out at least twenty disks from his sleeves. "Yay, but I know you have more." "Yeah, I do..." He takes off his boots and shook it until five other disks falls out. Then he checks his pants pockets; majority was his disks along with some other junk. Martin yawns again.
"Did you not sleep well last night?" The younger brother worries as he organizes the new set of disks. "Probably, but I don't know why?" "Well, go to sleep. By the time we get there it'll be night time anyway." Chris made a point. "You're absolutely right. I'm going to sleep. Goodnight, Chris." He yawns once more as he sluggishly walks to his hammock, laying down as he wraps himself with his blanket. "Goodnight, Martin." Chris whispers as he returns focus to organizing his brother's disks.
About an hour later, Chris had already finished his older brother's disks, neatly and safely stacked in a pod. He puts them away in a drawer next to his pod. He glances over his brother, whose soft snores can be heard in the room. It didn't take long for him to decide what to do next. He turns off the lights and quietly walks over to the hammocks. The sky casted warm reds, oranges, and purples as the dark blue blends into it.
"Martin..." Chris whispers. "Martin, can I sleep with you?" He whispers again, nudging his shoulder gently. "Yeah, of course." Martin says with a coarse voice. Chris climbs up to get his green blanket before joining with his brother. The older brother rearranges his arm so that the younger brother can use it as a pillow. The green Kratt tucked his head in the nook of the blue Kratt's neck. Martin snuggles closer to his younger brother, combing through his hair causing him to lure him into slumber. Soon the brothers were fast asleep, probably dreaming of their next creature adventure.
"Hey, bros. We're here now..." Aviva walks in after knocking on their door only to realize that they were asleep. She coos at the sight until Chris jolts awake. "Sorry, didn't mean to wake you. Just wanted to tell you that we're here, and thought to ask if you want to go explore with your brother and all that." She asks quietly. Finally his comprehension came back to him and shook his head no. He lays back down, falling quickly into deep sleep again. "Awe, did you have a nice nap?" She coos again as Chris gives a thumbs up before snuggling closer to Martin.
"Okay, I'll let you go back to sleep. I'll let you know if an emergency happens. Sleep tight." She didn't get an answer back, but she's happy knowing the brothers are getting enough sleep.
