The Neo-Egoist League come to an end. However, a little more than a month of training will continue. The players were in no hurry to go home, although Anri insisted she would not let Ego hold them back. Many players from Blue lock were interested in foreign clubs, and since they had to make an important decision, like choosing a club and then moving to another country, Ego gave them time to decide and try to play for other strata. So the Blue Lock program continued. The teams were shuffled and people were changed every week. Of course, the Japan U-20 main squad had already been decided, so the atmosphere between the players was no longer so stifling. Many foreign players also stayed, although the coaches had to leave. In a way, chaos ensued. Without the tutelage of coaches and with the ability to leave the building, the players felt free to do whatever they wanted. Thus, a large-scale party was planned in Blue lock.
Ness Alexis, one of the remaining foreign players, was also invited. Even if the "heart of Blue lock" was not happy about it. Alexis ' relationship with Isagi was unfriendly to say the least. But Ness was already used to being hated and ignored, and in his entire life he had only had close relationships with Kaiser Michael, who rarely showed affection openly, and with his boyfriend, the most precious person in the entire world. The guy who made all of Isagi's gang of friends and most of the German stratum hate him. They were all saying that Ness was using his boyfriend to make Kaiser jealous. It's like they know more about Alexis ' relationships with people than Alexis does. Ness would never use his cute boyfriend to make anyone jealous, much less Kaiser, with whom he had a far from romantic relationship. And yet, how infuriating they all are! Even if Ness and his lover know the truth, it's still unpleasant to hear such things about yourself and the person you love.
In the cafeteria where the soccer players were having lunch after morning practice, Ness couldn't help but sigh in frustration. He would like to go to a party and chat with Rin and Reo, the rare people who weren't hostile to him. But it is quite possible that Isagi will again say nasty things to him and forbid him to approach his lover, arguing for the protection of a friend. Can I just not go?
"Are you sad? Are you sad? Are they bothering you again Lexi-Lexi?" - asked Kurona Ranze, Alexis ' boyfriend, who Isagi and his friends think Ness is just using. Whether it was because he was only sixteen or because he was neurodivergent, everyone suddenly decided that he couldn't choose who to date. It's commendable that his friends care so much about Kurona, but isn't it too much to decide for him how he will be better off? Fortunately, Ranze isn't going to leave Alexis. After all, their tender love couldn't be faked. But he can't convince his friends either.
"It wasn't necessary today, but it's not evening yet," Alexis said, looking rather annoyed.
"I won't let them insult you!"
"Thank you, Ranze," Ness replied with a gentle smile, and then added in a lower voice, " I love you!"
"love you too!" Kurona said with glowing eyes, earning a kiss on the nose from his boyfriend.
"Do you think I should go to this party?"
"It's up to you, Lexi-Lexi. But I'd like to go with you, Lexi-Lexi!"
"I'd like to go with you, too. Maybe I should just stay away from Isagi."
"If they tell you anything bad, we'll leave, okay? Let's watch a movie together, together?"
"Thank you, although you could have stayed, I don't want to interrupt your fun."
"Just being with you is fun enough, fun enough."
"What did I do to get such a nice guy?" Alexis said, giving Ranze a loving look.
"You're just there and that's enough, that's enough," Kurona replied, earning a kiss on the corner of his mouth.
"Not in front of my breakfast, please," Michael interjected, annoyed, he was always a little aggressive in the morning, and the flirting between Ness and Kurona made him even angrier.
"I'm sorry! Ness immediately apologized.
"No need to apologize, idiot.
"Don't insult Lexi-Lexi!
"Another idiot. I'll leave you alone as soon as you stop acting so sickly sweet in front of me. If you really need to do this in front of someone, then flirt in front of Isagi, maybe then this clown will leave you alone.'
"Do you think Isagi will leave me alone if I show my love for Ranze?"
"Do you think I know what's going on in the jerk's head? But you can try it."
"Do you want to show your love in front of everyone? All of them?" Kurona asked and started touching his red pigtail in embarrassment.
"I won't if you don't want me to! But I don't mind telling the world that I love you... " said Ness, blushing slightly.
"I've had enough! Don't come near me with it again, Ness!
Kaiser shouted and carried his tray to another table. Ness wanted to stop him and apologize, but he was distracted by Kurona saying that he didn't mind showing affection in public, but he needed a warning.
All Ness had to do was come up with a plan for his performance and buy some props to finally get Isagi to leave him alone and show Ranze his love.
Ness talked to Reo about the plan and asked him for a couple of places to buy good gifts. As it turned out, in Reo's understanding, good gifts are luxury gifts. When he went to one of the recommended places, Alexis hoped that his salary as a professional player would be enough for something beautiful. Fortunately, Ness found something suitable for Ranze quickly. Alexis also decided to buy a bouquet as an addition to the gift. With nine pink and eight red asters, as well as a gift, Alexis went to Blue lock. He hid the presents in his room and started collecting them for training.
After the afternoon training session, which usually ended at five o'clock, the party would start. After showering and changing into a loose peach sweater and beige slacks, Nessus arrived at the cafeteria at five-thirty. There weren't many people there yet. Among his friends, Alexis noted the presence of Reo, predictably for a social butterfly, and Rin, which was unexpected.
"Rin?" Ness called out.
"Hey, Alexis, I just need to wait for your boyfriend and Isagi, Rin greeted him with a slightly creepy smile.
"Eh? What are you talking about?"
"I told him about your plan, and he wanted to see it. I can't believe he actually came to the party."
"I'll either watch Isagi apologize to Kurona and you, or I'll watch you embarrass yourself." Much more interesting than sitting at home.
"Wow, you must have a lot of faith in me, right?"
"Don't listen to him, Alexis, you know what he's like. Anyway, seeing Isagi beg for forgiveness is quite tempting, " Reo said with a sweet smile.
"That's why I'm talking to you," Ness said with that tick-shaped smile that was often called creepy, but which Ranza loved so much.
Reo, Rin, and Alexis continued to chat for a long time. More and more people came to the dining hall, and food and drinks were served there. It was suspicious that Ego had forked out on the whim of the players, but after Reo said that the head of Blue lock was going to host stream of parties, everything fell into place. As it turned out, alcohol was even brought to the party. It wasn't hard to guess that this was Oliver and Shidou's doing, but Ego didn't seem to want to stop them. It looks like Blue lock had some financial issues.
Soon, Ranze came to the party with Isagi's little group of friends.
Ness ran to his room to get presents as soon as he saw the red crown. The bouquet was in his hands, the gift was in his pants pocket, everything was perfect. Although Alexis started to get nervous after remembering that their actions were being broadcast. But with the support of Reo and Rin, he went out to Ranza, who was standing in the center of the hall, and gave him a bouquet of flowers.
"I love you, Ranze," Nessus said, and then someone accidentally bumped him in the back, and Nessus had to get down on one knee to keep from falling face-first to the floor. He didn't hesitate and pulled the ring box out of his pants pocket.
"Mnh!" was all Kurona could say, his face flushed and his skin almost matching the color of his hair.
"You will marry me," Alexis said with all his love, and then, realizing the situation he was in, he quickly added, " I mean, not now, although I don't mind, but only if you want to." I'm sorry I startled you, but I meant marry me sometime later. This is a promise ring and not an engagement ring, I promise the engagement ring will be better!
Ness apologized and explained for a long time, until Kurona got down on his knees and hugged him.
Later that evening, Isagi apologized to Ness and Kurona.
Rin and Reo were very pleased to see this pretty scene.
