For countless centuries, the Four Nations have stood solid against the encroachment of the fae-- so solid that the fae were, for a time, forgotten. The watches eased, the protections waned, the wards were stolen and sold. A hundred years ago, the fae returned... and the Avatar disappared entirely. Most of the world believes the Avatar is gone forever, but those of Sozin's line continue their search across the world.
