   • a retelling of the trojan war which cares a lot about trojan women
   • and explores the idea that all these queens and demigods don't fit our modern world

   Summary

   ALL: Things were different then.

POLYXENA: I tell you this not to elicit pity,

CLYTEMNESTRA: I don’t want your pity. I always looked up to Medea when I was a girl.

   PENELOPE:I loved Arachne,

HELEN: I admired Psyche, though I was always more of a Pandora.

HECUBA: Why are you saying all this?

CASSANDRA: [Cutting in, looking directly at HECUBA] Because there’s a place in our stories for a woman who kills two children out of spite.

HECUBA: They were not my own.
