Choi Han really likes Cale-nim.
Even when they first met, Choi Han could feel that he could trust a stranger who suddenly helped him and took him back to his residence. Choi Han knows, even though he doesn't really understand what normal people do, he knows that he shouldn't trust anyone carelessly, especially strangers. His adoptive parents just said that to him, and Choi Han, being a good and obedient child, complied and understood how dangerous it was. Even so, he was confident in his own judgment, so without thinking, Choi Han went along with Cale-nim.
But that didn't mean he wasn't alert. Especially with the attention Cale-nim was giving him. It was true that he was insensitive, but that didn't mean he didn't understand how much Cale-nim cared about him. Like he would give anything or even something that Choi Han himself didn't know he needed without thinking at once. So don't be surprised if Choi Han is suspicious and wary of what Cale-nim wants from him.
And sure enough, payment time arrived. Even with a request he didn't expect.
Bodyguards.
Or his personal servant? But Cale-nim already had the butler and his son who were clearly more experienced as bodyguards than him.
But Choi Han also knew that Cale-nim trusted him more (or not?) for this matter than those two people. Even though he knew there were still many things that Cale-nim was hiding from him.
But Choi Han still had time to wait for the day Cale-nim would share whatever he was hiding with him.
Because he knew that whatever Cale-nim was keeping secret had something to do with him.

Cale massaged his temples which were throbbing with pain from their meeting that was never finished. He really wanted to sleep, if only he could ignore the sharp gaze from Rosalyn and the tired look from Alberu. He knew that he was not the only one who was tired of meetings that never got the answers they were looking for, but he also wanted to hit his head until he passed out, just to get out of this useless meeting.
Luckily the sound of knocking distracted both of them from him.
"Cale-nim, it's me, Choi Han. May I come in?"
Hearing Choi Han's voice made him relax. He let Alberu let Choi Han in. And saw Choi Han who had just returned from the mission he gave him. Choi Han was supposed to come back tomorrow, but it seemed like he finished earlier and returned than expected. It wasn't strange considering that Choi Han would finish something and come back without caring if his presence wasn't required before the appointed time.
Cale nodded, indicating for Choi Han to share the information he got from his mission. While the others were busy, Cale folded his arms on the table and laid his face down to sleep for a while. Besides, he would hear that information again from Choi Han when they were alone in his room again.
Vaguely, he heard Alberu and Rosalyn discussing with Choi Han occasionally expressing his opinion. Choi Han is now increasingly confident in expressing his opinions clearly without causing other people to misunderstand. Cale still clearly remembered the old Choi Han, who still had no filter and gave him a headache just hearing him speak. Because once Choi Han spoke, Cale had to prepare himself to correct the mistakes that would definitely be worse if he kept quiet. Fortunately, with direction and guidance from him and his colleagues, Choi Han can now express his opinion and it is well received by his interlocutors.
"Cale. If you don't wake up in 5 seconds, then I will throw you off一"
Before Rosalyn had finished speaking, Cale immediately got up as fast as lightning and ignored Alberu's chuckles and immediately gave him the middle finger.

Choi Han watched the meeting still going on, making him bored. Indeed, he is an expert in getting and explaining the information he gets. But when it comes to communication, he still has a bit of difficulty and gets bored easily if the topic doesn't lead to Cale-nim or Cale-nim himself discusses the matter with him. That's why he will only reply if someone asks him to talk.
Her gaze immediately fell on the very familiar gesture that Cale-nim often used on him.
The index finger moves forward and backward, then followed by the index finger pointing to the side, or down...? Because usually after the first movement, the index finger will point downwards.
Maybe Cale-nim was too focused on the topic of conversation, that's why he forgot about his gestures?
Choi Han didn't think much about the mistake. Moreover, he wanted to get Cale-nim's attention after being separated from him to carry out a mission for 5 days.
So without thinking twice. Choi Han walked over and pulled Cale-nim's chair back slightly.
Then sit on his lap.

Cale blinked. Stunnedly silent with Choi Han who suddenly sat on his lap.
Cale would not have minded Choi Han sitting on his lap if this had happened while they were in his room. Not in front of other people, especially Alberu and Rosalyn.
This was proven by the silence in the atmosphere and the reactions of Alberu and Rosalyn who were shocked by what Choi Han did just now.
Of course Choi Han didn't understand and definitely didn't care about other people seeing him sitting on Cale Henetus' lap. The troublemaker will definitely push him and throw a liquor bottle at him.
But it wouldn't be Choi Han if he didn't realize the strange atmosphere he himself was in.
Choi Han looked at him, then turned his gaze to Alberu and to Rosalyn with a confused expression clearly written on his face "Why are your expressions so strange?" Choi Han asked while tilting his head.
Alberu ignored Choi Han and immediately looked at Cale with a shocked expression "Cale, don't tell me you..."
Alberu didn't have time to finish his words. Rosalyn immediately burst out laughing while slapping the table hard. Even a few tears came out and Cale was sure that after this, he wouldn't be able to escape from the two who would tease him like the brothers they claimed to be.
"Shut up! Don't laugh Rosalyn!"
And of course Rosalyn didn't hear it and continued laughing until Alberu, who had calmed down, started laughing again with an annoyed laugh that Cale really wanted to hit with the cake that was in front of him.
"I-I didn't know that一 pfttt! Cale likes things like that!" Rosalyn exclaimed from the sidelines laughing.
"You're right. But I think it makes sense, considering Cale's position- haha! Y-you know?" Alberu suddenly pointed his index finger upwards which made Rosalyn laugh even more and she started to sound like a hyena being trampled by a horse who was laughing at her misfortune.
Choi Han who saw Alberu and Rosalyn laughing like crazy and Cale who looked like he wanted to bury himself alive. Shrugged his shoulders indifferently and chose to turn around, with his legs wrapped around Cale's waist and his arms around his neck. He then put his face on Cale's neck and nuzzled his face while looking for a comfortable position, so that he could sleep on Cale's lap and ignore the mess he had indirectly caused.
