Summary
What if Gi-hun and in-ho weren’t truly strangers before the games? What if gi-hun’s childhood friend had moved away aged seven? What if he’d forgotten his old playmates name by now? And what if -somehow unbeknownst to them both- their old memories would accidentally be the catalyst for a beautiful romance inside the arena?
Or, gi-hun and in-ho were strangers before the games, but that hadn’t always been the case. In a moment of stupidity after revealing a nugget of truth from his childhood in-ho triggers a set of memories in Gi-hun’s head, memories of a sweet boy who picked flowers to lay on the graves of their toy soldiers, the same boy who had left when they were nine with a peck on the cheek and a vow to find him one day when they were grown.
