Summary
Philip and Eloise break up days before their supposed second year anniversary trip to Vietnam. Not one to waste the hard work she had put into building their itinerary but also not quite on a mood to go on a now solo trip heartbroken, Eloise asks her best friend Penelope Featherington to take the trip for her instead. Reluctant at first, Penelope thinks this might actually be her only chance for much needed break from her work, and from one Colin Bridgerton badgering her in all forms of communication he can find, and the added benefit of physically escaping him when he’s finally returned to London just the day before her flight. Godsend opportunity, really!
But then just why on earth does the same infernal man now seated in business class, annoyingly (beautifully) sleeping, not a care for the world might she add, at the same flight as her to Hanoi?
