Chapter Text

This is a lot harder than I thought.
Ever since the tour ended, and Minho and Kitty came back to K.I.S.S. things have been different, new classes, new people, the kiss they shared, the talks they had.
Oh yeah that, well during the tour one night the tension became too much and Minho couldn’t hold back, then that kiss spiraled into a long conversation and they talked about everything and why what happened happened. It got to a point he asked her on a date and she obviously said yes, then that date turned into many dates, which turned into him asking to be her boyfriend right before school started.

And that's where their current situation comes into play. When they pull up to K.I.S.S. in Minho’s limo it all hits Kitty.
“ Minho” she whispers with an estranged look in her eyes “Yes Kitty” He replied without looking up from his phone, but when he was met with silence he finally looks up, seeing Kitty’s eyes “What’s wrong” he said with gentle tone Kitty wasn’t fully used to yet “Oh my god” Kitty says “Covey you are being way too vague for my liking” he says with just enough force to bring her back to reality. “What are we going to do about Dae” she says in one breath “First of all, calm down, second it’s really not that big a deal” his tone being much too calm for her liking “He will freak out if we tell him don’t you remember when he threatened to kill you? Twice!” Kitty says still breathless “Well we’ll just not tell him” Minho shrugged like it was obvious.

Even though it would definitely have repercussions it was the best plan at the moment, and the only one they could both agree on.
Kitty didn’t want to overthink too much so they shared one last kiss before getting out of the car and Kitty went to find Q, Minho not far behind with their luggage. “Covey are you seriously making me do all the work” Minho complained “Yep” Kitty replied cheerfully “Oh I think I see him” as she broke into a jog attacking Q with a hug. “Ugh I missed you so much” Q said with fake pout “Wow okay love you too bro” Minho half yelled from his place five feet away with their luggage “Oh Minho man I didn’t even see you” Q says as he makes his way over to him. After greeting him Q goes back to catching up with Kitty “I want to know everything! How was the tour?” Q was practically jumping for excitement “It was amazing, the sights and the food everything was so perfect” Kitty rambled on for about 5 minutes straight before Q could even get a word in, by then Minho had caught up to them. “Alright alright one thing I don’t get is how you two didn’t rip each other's heads off” Q said in a questioning tone.

Kitty and Minho shared a look “It’s a miracle really” Kitty laughed nervously.
“On that note, Kitty, I'm this close to chucking your bags” Minho says, holding up his fingers to further his point. “Okay okay we’ll go. Bye Q!” Kitty exclaimed “Bye Kitty” Q replied.
Even after last year Kitty still applied for a single dorm, but since her scholarship only covers doubles she’s going to meet her new roommate.
“Why are you nervous?” Minho said after seeing Kitty’s hands shaking “Just i’ve never really had good luck with roommates in the past” Kitty sighed “True” Minho laughed under his breath
“I mean what could be worse, you could get stuck in a room with your ex pen pal and his friend that hates you” Minho said full laughing now “Ha ha very funny” Kitty retorts straight faced
“Okay now stop stalling and open the door” Minho said slightly shoving Kitty towards the door

When she opens the door she is met with silence “Hello?” she calls “I’m your new roommate” she calls again walking in the room. She goes to look in the other room but no ones there “Looks like she’s not here yet” she tells Minho as he rolls in with their luggage “Well we have some time before the welcome party” grabbing Kitty by the waist “Minho I need to unpack” Kitty says through a smile “5 minutes” Minho said spinning her around and kissing her. They abruptly break apart hearing the door open. Luckily they were already in Kitty’s room “Hello?” a familiar voice called “Praveena?!” Kitty says running to the door.

“Oh my god Kitty Kat” Praveena says hugging Kitty “Hello” Minho says very monotone “Woah” Praveena jumps back “I did not see or hear you that scared me” Praveena says holding her chest “You’re the second person to say that to me” Minho replies still very calm “Wait wait wait why are you here anyway?” Praveena questions Minho, Kitty’s eyes go wide but Minho remains calm “Just helping her unpack” he says sounding kinda bored “When have you ever been that nice” Praveena laughs “Hey I can be nice, I just choose not to.” Kitty starts laughing a little too hard which earns her a look from Praveena “Heh anyway we need to unpack sooooo” Kitty says grabbing Minho by the arm
“We really do need to unpack” She adds putting her finger to Minho’s chest before he can get too close “Aye that’s what i’m doing” raising his hands to prove his innocence.

After they finished unpacking Kitty started getting ready for the welcome party, “What do you think of this one” Kitty says holding up black dress with purple accents “Covey you’ve looked beautiful in the last three dresses, but I don't think I can handle anymore sparkles” Minho sighs and Kittys rolls her eyes “You’re not helping” she says whilst comparing the black dress to the dark red one. Getting up from his place on the bed Minho sneaks up behind her putting his arms around her waist and kissing her shoulder “I think the red brings out your eyes” he says as they sway slightly back and forth. “Save the dancing for the party” Kitty says, breaking away from his embrace to face him “Will we even be able to?” he questions pushing stray hair from her face “I’ll find a way” she chirps giving him a quick peck “Oh I’ve learned not to doubt you after last year” he adds a prominent smile on his lips “Finally, took you long enough” she teases “To be fair your theories are quite out there” he remarks flopping back onto the bed.

Minho had to leave after she’d finally settled on the red dress to go unpack and get dressed for the welcome party. When she was done saying goodbye she went to get some water from the kitchen only to meet the piercing eyes of Praveena “What was that all about?” she questions “What was what all about?” she replies, “Kitty you were alone with him for an hour, what can I say a girl gets curious” Praveena shrugs “Oh he was helping decide my outfit he has a surprisingly good eye” Kitty says trying to hide her panic, “Huh maybe he could help me next time i'm stuck between wedges and heels” Praveena laughs, as she walks back to her room Kitty lets out a sigh of relief.

Kitty is happy, scared and excited all at once but she hopes the welcome party will help calm some of the nerves. Seeing familiar faces always help put her at ease, especially her favorite face at the moment she goes up to hug Minho, trying her hardest to seem like ‘Just hugging my guy friend’ not ‘Hugging my boyfriend’ pulling back from the hug and meeting Minho’s eyes “You feeling okay?” His expression full of worry “Yeah better now just nerves” he goes to grab her hand and stops himself when he sees Q start walking over quickly mouthing a ‘Sorry’ before starting a new conversation with Q. Once Kitty spots Dae she excuses herself and walks over to him wrapping her arms around him “I missed you” squeezing him tighter “I missed you too” waiting a couple more seconds before releasing her. “You look very handsome” she adds “Thank you, you do too” he smiles at her, a rock of guilt sinks in her stomach even though technically Minho and her were doing nothing wrong something doesn’t feel right.
“Ah there you are, Covey thought i’d lost you” Minho says as he comes up behind her, “Dae how’ve you been? How’s Eunice?” Minho says turning to face Dae “I’ve been good, Eunice was good last time we talked, uh she’s actually in the bathroom right now” Dae gestures towards the ladies room, Minho makes an ‘Ah’ shape with his mouth in reply.

When Minho and Kitty finally escape it’s the end of the night and almost everyone has gone to their rooms.
And they could finally have that dance, as that sway back and forth to a slow song Kitty’s hands around Minho's neck and his around her waist like in a hug “I wish this moment could last forever” Kitty says pulling back just slightly to look into his eyes Minho hums in agreement burying his face in the curve of her neck.

Chapter Text

First day back is always the best and the worst.
Nerves aside Kitty wanted to make the most of her last year at K.I.S.S. so she got up and got dressed early and went to the boys dorms, oddly she feels more at home there.
She’s surprised to see that Minho opens the door. He usually sleeps in as much as he can. “Oh good morning Covey, why are you here?” he says moving to let her in “Wow don’t sound too excited” Kitty deadpans “You know that’s not what I meant” he sighs lifting his arms defensively “I know I know i'm just teasing” gently shoving Minho earning her a shove right back, before things could go any farther Q walked out of his room and stop in his tracks when he saw them “Please tell me you guys aren’t going to throw hands and if you are can I at least film it” “Only if i get half profits” Dae says walking out of his room through a yawn. Self consciously Kitty took a step back from Minho sparing a glance to him but he was already looking down

“Jokes aside what are you doing here” Dae said when they had all sat down with a pot of coffee boiling on the stove “First day nerves, plus this is kind of my comfort place” Kitty sighs as Minho goes to touch her hand but ends up with a friendly shoulder rub to avoid suspicion. “Kitty you’ll be fine it’s basically the same as last year” Q says in an attempt to console her “Yeah plus this year half the school doesn’t hate you” Minho teases “Surprisingly that does make me feel better even though it’s your fault that half the school thought I was a stalker” she retorted and she felt a twinge of satisfaction when his smile dropped.
By the time the coffee was done they had gotten out their schedules to compare

Period 4: Juliana and Q

Period 5: Dae and Mihee

Period 6: Praveena and Minho

Period 7: Madison

“Oh that’s good I have at least one person I know in all my classes” Kitty said, turning off her phone and putting it back in her pocket “Well we don’t have class for another 20 minutes what do you want to do?” Minho said pour some collagen water in his cup offering some to Kitty that she accepted, at which Q and Dae share a look “What?” Minho said in response to their look “What was that?” Q said pointing to Kitty’s cup “I had the water out and her cup was empty, common decency” Minho explained in his ‘Was that not obvious?’ tone. “Well okay but why didn’t you offer us some?” Q pointed out “You lot drink my collagen water enough and I just wanted to finish off the bottle” that made Kitty realize he had poured the last of the bottle into her cup, she didn’t know if that was on purpose but if it was then Kitty really needs to up her game.

On the way to class Dae and Kitty walked together “Hey so I know what Minho said about the water but wasn’t that kind of weird?” Dae asked “I didn’t really think anything of it” Kitty shrugged “Well I mean I know you two are friends and he was just being nice but-” before he could finish that thought Yuri came up behind them “Kitty!” Yuri exclaimed grabbing Kitty before she could answer either of them “Oh my god hi Yuri’ Kitty turned to face her glad for an excuse to get out of her conversation with Dae, that thought made her stomach turn she really hates lying to Dae but she’s started to agree with Minho.

“We barely talked to whole summer which was partially my own fault but still” grabbing Kitty by the arm and sitting down next to her “There was rarely any time, you know with the constant moving I was almost never alone” “Yeah I know just we need to make up for lost time” Yuri sighs “I agree, oh! I have an idea you should come to the movie night i’m hosting" " You're hosting a movie night?” Dae says leaning over to eavesdrop “Uh yeah I decided just now” folding her arms self righteously “Oh do you want to do it at my dorm we have a bigger Tv” Dae suggested “As long as Q and Minho are okay with it that would be great thank you Dae” “Of course and i’m sure they’ll say yes Minho has been trying extra hard to stay on my good side after what happened at the ski cabin” Dae laughs and Kitty smiles back but the reminder of their fight made her queasy.

“Wait so Kitty is throwing a movie night?” Q asked “Yeah she told me in first period” Dae answered “Why didn’t she tell us herself?” Minho questioned “Well I kinda offered up our Tv and living room” Dae laughed nervously scratching his head “I mean i'm not bothered” Q shrugged “Me neither but no more than 10 people max” Minho warned them “Kitty is planning the party not me which means she the one in charge of inviting people” Dae told him walking into his room.

“So why exactly are you hosting a movie night” Minho says sitting down on Kitty’s bed as she closes the door “Just to catch up with everyone I haven’t seen during the summer” she says and Minho grabs her hand “Well how long until this movie night” he says when Kitty sits on the bed “I told everyone to start showing up at 7” Kitty says resting her head on Minho’s shoulder as he wrapped an arm around her “This is harder than I thought” turning her head into his chest and groaning, as he laughs under his breath gently stroking her hair “Tell me about it, I can’t go more than 20 minutes without someone questioning our behavior” Kitty glances up furrowing her eyebrows “Really? I thought we were doing pretty good” “Well yeah we are but I think it’s not enough banter” “Ohhh yeah you’re right we really haven’t fought” she says standing up and grabbing Minho’s hand “Oh what? Why are we standing?” Minho groans, pushing himself off the bed “Becauseee we need practice” “I never know what to expect from you” Minho laughs.
“Okay stand there” Kitty points to a spot placing herself as well “This is ridiculous, why are we doing this” Minho complains “Will you just follow my lead” Minho scoffs but stops talking “Okay so pretend we are at the movie and I won’t stop talking” putting up her hands to signal him “Oh um Covey do you mind?” “no more like” she clears her throat “Covey I can’t hear the movie over your incessant yapping” Kitty says in a bad British accent “First of all, what the hell was that accent, second you want me to be rude to you?” he scoffed “Of course I don’t want you to bully me but maybe act a little more… you” which earned her a questioning look “And that means?” “Well pretend you’re still irritated by me” he barks out a laugh “Yeah no need to worry about that” “You know what I meant” her tone unimpressed “Okay i’ve got it” grabbing her hand “Oh that reminds me” pulling her hand away “Less touching” at that Minho raises his eyebrows “Well not no touching just keep it friendly, less hugging” “Uh last I checked you hugged me at the dance” sitting back on the bed “I was stressed” “Well I know that, but if I can’t touch you then you’ve got to stop coming to my dorm early just to see me” he smirked “I was not just there for you I just wanted to see my friends my boyfriend being there was just a plus” sitting down next to him when Kitty turned to face him noticing the smile he was trying (and failing ) to hide. “What are you smiling about?” poking his side teasingly “What? I’m not smiling and stop that” slapping her hand away" “Aww is it because I called you my boyfriend?” ruffling his hair “No, and I didn’t smile” frantically fixing his hair “Right right, wait I'm deja vu” “Huh?” “Remember the start of second semester” “Ohhh when you pretended you did love the idea of me being in love with you” Minho said his voice full of sarcasm to which Kitty rolled her eyes “I don’t see you complaining” she says grabbing his face in a kiss.
That kiss was rudely interrupted when Praveena knocked on Kitty’s door “Kitty do you want to go to the boys dorm together” “Yeah lets go” grabbing Minho “Woah” Minho exclaimed “Oh is Minho in there again?” Praveena’s tone changed to something of worry “Yeah I was just helping her with homework we both know she desperately needs it” Minho flinches when Kitty slaps his arm “I’m sorry but you know it’s true” walking towards the door.

Chapter Text

Minho, Kitty and Praveena all walk in together. “Oh Minho there you are we’ve been looking for you” Dae said standing from his spot on the couch, “I was helping Kitty with homework I wasn’t really on my phone” shrugging it off and going to take a seat next to Q. “Kitty if you need help i’m always here, you know I used to tutor” Dae said with a look of concern “Yes of course i’m not failing just struggling my usual amount” which made them both laugh while they find a place next to each other and ending up next to Minho and Q. Which was the worst possible outcome, of course she likes sitting next to Minho obviously they’re dating, but that's the problem they’re dating. When she’s close to him, holding back is harder, like ‘out of sight out of mind’ but when he’s right there and she can smell his cologne…. it’s different.

“Hey Covey, what were you guys talking about?” Minho questioned her as she and Dae sat down and Dae turning to talk to Eunice “Oh he’s just wondering if I need to be tutored again” she laughed at the thought “Should’ve taken him up on the offer you desperately need it” Minho teased but his eyes said something else. ‘Woah’ Kitty knew that was a dangerous path staring at his eyes turned to staring at his lips and you know what happens next. “So what movie are we watching?” Yuri said nudging Kitty, bringing her out of her thoughts “Yeah Covey, what are we watching? hmm?” Minho added “Well I was thinking, we all put ideas into a hat or a cup or something and me or someone would draw and we’d watch as many movies as we could before curfew” Kitty suggested to the group “Wait I love this idea i’ll grab the paper oh Q can I borrow your hat?” Praveena exclaimed in excitement, getting up to help Kitty.

After finishing three movies the picking movies out of a hat turned into charades.
Kitty was next up, holding up three fingers “Three syllables!” someone shouted, as Kitty mimed reading a book and a face with her tongue sticking out to mime being dead “The notebook!” Minho shouted “How the hell did you get that!?” Praveena practically yelled “It was obvious” he shrugged, in reality Kitty made him watch it twice on both connecting flights back to south korea so he basically had it memorized.
“Okay Minho you win a total of 10 and Yuri a close second with 8” Praveena says, marking her whiteboard (no ones really sure where it came from). “Ha ha take that losers” Minho exclaims but clearing his throat and reclaiming his composure, “You sure are cocky for someone who only knew the rom-coms” Jin pointed out making everyone laugh “That's her fault not mine!” Minho insisted pointing to Kitty “I am offended” Kitty scoffed “You watched 10 things I hate about you twice out of your own free will” she added.
“Minho you big sap who knew the playboy was a romantic at heart” Eunice cooed from her place next to Dae, “Why are you so interested in what I watch? What about Yuri and the fact all of hers were thrillers” his voice was full of annoyance, “The mindfuckers amuse me” she shrugged “And I’m the weird one?!” he demanded “Acceptance is the first step” Q stated putting a ‘comforting’ hand on Minho’s shoulder “Alright alright, it’s almost curfew don’t you lot have to go?” Minho grumbled making a ‘shoo’ motion with his hands.

Minho was right about curfew so they left, but on the way out Kitty tripped and fell of course Minho ran to see what happened . “Oh yeah” examining her ankle “You sprained it, you can't walk all the way to the girls dorm” Minho scolded “Hey i’ve got her” Praveena assured him, “Thanks Prav” Kitty murmured through her embarrassment as she latched a arm around Praveena but her ankle gave out taking them both down. “Nope screw this” grabbing Kitty and scoping her up bridal style “I’m taking her to the nurse cover for me” Minho exclaimed “Q call the RA and Praveena could you call Alex tell him why you too were gone Principal Lee has a soft spot for him” before any of them could respond he was already off.

“Minho you're going to get in trouble” Kitty stated trying to fight back tears as her ankle hurt more by the second.
“I do not care right now Kitty” his voice strained from running, “It’s dark and the girls dorm is closer than the nurse plus I have an ankle wrap in my suitcase” she said in an attempt to persuade him away from the nurse cause she was tired and just wanted to sleep “Kitty you need a brace a maybe even some pain killer” he remarked, stopping in his tracks nonetheless “Please Minho I just want to get a good night's sleep, also like I said I have the ankle stuff in my dorm” Minho groaned “Kitty why the hell do you have an ankle brace if you didn’t hurt your ankle” he added turning to face the girls dorms.
“Because Lara-Jean always says you can never be too careful” “Wow even in your darkest moments you feel the need to be a smartass” he countered “Hey you’re the one who confessed your undying love for me before a 12 hour flight, maybe you need a smartass in your life” she retorted.

When they got to the room Praveena was on the couch watching f.r.i.e.n.d.s. on the Tv. “Oh there you are you scared the shit out of me!” Praveena declared a little louder than she had planned as she marched over to them “Prav you can yell at us as loud as you want in the morning, but right now all I want is ice and painkillers” Kitty sighed exhaustedly “Minho the wrap and brace are in my room” pointing to her door “Yeah alright” he muttered opening the door and leaving it open for Praveena. Laying Kitty down on the bed grabbing a pillow off the couch to elevate her ankle. After Minho was done wrapping and putting on the brace Praveena came in with the pain killers and ice “Oh cheers pass those over” sparing a glance to Praveena quickly turning back to Kitty placing the ice on her ankle. “Kitty, do you have water or do you need me to get you some?” he asked but she had already grabbed the bottle and took two aspirins, “It’s really late i’m heading to bed” Praveena reported sitting on the very edge of Kitty’s bed next to her ankle, that movement made Minho sit up straighter and bite back telling Praveena to be careful “Oh that reminds me when his he going back to his room?” she questioned Kitty a gleam in her eyes like she knew there was something hiding, but Kitty was prepared “It’s way too late to sneak back without getting caught plus his RA knew he’d be out late taking me to the nurse, he can sleep on the floor and Q can bring his clothes over early tomorrow” “Wow looks like you’ve got this all figured out Kitty Kat, good night you two” she called “Good night Praveena!” they sang in unison.

Once they were certain Praveena was asleep Minho crawled into bed beside Kitty, but not too close afraid to touch her ankle “I’m a big girl Minho I can handle a sprained ankle” she teased shuffling closer “I know, I just get scared ” he says gently laying his head on her chest while she played with his hair It was a fair trade because Minho liked listening to her heart beat and Kitty like running her fingers through his hair, the action was small but it meant everything to them in their own way.
“I know you do and it’s okay, good night” she whispered,kissing his cheek and turning off the light “Good night my love” he replied but she was already sleeping.

Chapter Text

Shit.
The first thing she thought when waking up, Minho lying next to her “Shit shit shit” Kitty shrieked, shaking Minho awake.
“Holy crap Covey, you really know how to give a guy a wake up call” he chuckled “How could you possibly be laughing right now?!” she demanded, making an attempt at standing but Minho grabbed her hand giving her a warning look “Q’s coming to bring your clothes and everyone’s going to question us about what you did last night.” she groaned “Hey! That felt awfully accusatory” he complained.
“Minho! Why are you not taking this serious” she exclaimed."I just don’t want to panic yet” he shrugged. He stood and put a wrinkled pillow on the ground and a small blanket, making it seem like he slept there.

“Kitty? Minho? It’s Q. I have his uniform” Q called, as Minho stood to open the door.
“I will break down this door if you don’t answer me” Q announced the nervousness prominent in his voice, “Alright calm down i’m opening the door” Minho explained reaching for the handle to let Q in, but getting hit in the head with a slipper trying in the process.
“Ah cheers mate” he said, voice dripping with sarcasm as he wiped the dust off his face, “Oh my god Minho in so sorry” Q exclaimed “but I did try to warn you” he added. “Well when you said you were gonna ‘break down the door’ I wasn’t really imagining a slipper” he replied letting Q slip past him into the room turning to see Kitty who was sitting amused on the bed.
“What are you smirking at Covey” Minho questioned his tone full of amusement “Nothing, nothing” she replied giggling to herself.
Minho went to the bathroom to get changed, “We need to talk” Q sighed sitting down next to Kitty on the bed “About what?” Kitty asked, trying not to panic “About last night” he replied “Yeah I figured” she mumbled sighing, ready to accept the fact her and Minho’s secret relationship only lasted a week.

“What's happening between you and Minho?” Q blurted out “What? Where’s this coming from?” she said anxiously “Kitty.
Girl.” he asserted giving her a ‘you know damn well’ look “Towards the end of last semester you told me you had a sex dream about Minho-” “Not a sex dream “ Kitty demanded cutting off Q “Yeah okay, you had a … dream about Minho and he’s been trying really hard to be a good friend, hun how are you handling your crush picking you up and carrying you like a knight in shining armour.” oh this works Kitty thought to herself “Oh I-” but she was cut off by Minho knocking on the wall next the open door to get their attention “Knock knock knock” he announced clearing his throat “Sorry to interrupt but you need to start getting ready if we're gonna make it on time” turning to leave “I’m leaving early to avoid suspension byeee” he called on his way out.

Once Kitty was dressed and they were actually making pretty good time Q started questioning her again “Kitty I feel like we haven’t talked at all since school started” he remarked making Kitty’s stomach drop “What I see everyday and we saw each last night” she blurted in a way that seemed like she was trying to prove it to herself. “Well yes but usually we hang out everyday and like get coffee together and you always talk to me about all the little details of your love life but since school started I haven’t heard anything” Q reasoned “And I know why” he added
“You do?!” she shrieked “Yes it’s because of Minho isn’t it” at this Kitty officially started panicking “Q I promise it’s not what you think” she started but he cuts her off “Kitty it’s okay I get it, your spending as much time as you can with him because of your crush” he went on. Kitty did not know if she just had insane luck or Q was willfully ignorant but she could play along with this.

Now all she needed was to deal with Dae and Praveena.
“Hi Kitty, how's your ankle?” Dae asked as she sat down. “It still hurts but i’m feeling better, thanks for asking” she answered “Of course, but I do want to
talk to you about last night” he said, sighing “What’s happening between you and Minho?” “What?” Kitty tried playing dumb “Last night when you slipped
Minho went crazy, he picked you and carried you like half a block to the nurse instead of letting Praveena and he even stayed at your dorm knowing he might get in severe trouble” right when Kitty was about to answer Yuri sat down.
“What happened last night? I was talking with Praveena she told me everything” she announced “Guys it really wasn’t that big a deal, he was worried and took measures into his own hands, he’s really been trying to be kind since our fight over Stella that's all” Kitty explained not really
sure where it came from. “I know that he cares for you, I've just never seen him care this much” Dae inquired. Kitty really didn’t know how to answer that “Look I know that he doesn’t like you anymore, but I can talk to him if your uncomfortable” he says through a sigh lightly touching Kitty’s
hand “He’s a good guy and my bestfriend but you can always talk to me if he’s acting weird” the look on Dae’s face is one of concern “Oh my god no, not at all, he was just being a gentleman and we are friends he just wants to be there for me … as friends” that reminded her of how painfully in
love they were last school year and how even more oblivious they were “Dae i’m okay really and please save him the embarrassment, Minho has been so kind and i'm very thankful to have him there for me” she reassured him patting his hand before letting it go “I trust you” he said
earnestly, and it felt like she’d been kicked in the gut.

This was going to eat Kitty alive.
“What the bloody hell-” Minho exclaimed but Kitty cut him off with a hand over his mouth, as she pulled him into a supply closet “What do you think you’re doing?” he demanded but freezes when he sees the way Kitty fidgets with her hands and the look her face, it was a mix of sad and nauseous
“Love, are you okay?” he asked grabbing her hands that were starting to shake “Can you please hug me” her voice quivering a lump forming in her throat “Darling you don’t have to ask” muttered softly into her hair enclosing her in a gentle embrace, he could feel her purple fingernails dig into the
back of his head as she clung onto him. “Uh okay i’m good” she mumbled after sge'd finally stopped crying, trying to pull away but he held her tighter “Five more seconds” his voice tight as he practically begged to not let her go, when he finally pulled back he kissed her forehead resting his chin on her head “What
happened?” when she looked up she saw his eyes searching for an answer in her’s “Just lying to everyone I feel so shitty, but we can’t stop now cause that would make things
way worse” she insisted “You’ve got the wheel Covey i’ll stand with whatever you decide” he assured her, they kissed goodbye and left one at a time to avoid suspicion. This made Kitty realize they had spent most of their lunch period and she had next period with him and Praveena.

“Hello” Praveena says her eyes full of mischief “Hi there” Minho says from his place next to Kitty “I think she was talking to me” Kitty remarked
“No no i’m talking both of you” her eyes were piercing and knowing “I was wondering if you two are available for a coffee run later” she suggests
“Oh yeah sure” “I’m free whenever” they both agreed “Okay sounds great i’ll meet you next to the one with the yellow umbrellas” she announced going to take her seat.

“Oh there you are” Minho remarked as Kitty caught up to him “Yeah, um Minho” she started, clearing her throat “Yes?” he answered “Why do you think she asked us to hang out?” “Probably just wants to hang out, I wouldn’t stress” he adds, noticing her worry “Yeah you’re right” she mutters to herself.
“Oh your here” Praveena acknowledged, standing to greet them, once they’d ordered and sat down Praveena wasted no time “I’m guessing you guys know I didn’t ask you here just for coffee” Praveena started, catching Kitty off guard causing her to choke on a piece of boba “Uh what?” she
questioned through a cough “I know what’s happening” she confessed “I’ve heard that many times today” Kitty half laughed “But what do you know?” she inquired “I know you two are dating” Praveena stated to which Kitty’s jaw physically dropped.
