He swallows, and my eyes follow the movement of his throat.
"I don't think we can ever be just friends." He murmurs, and my mouth goes dry, heart leaping into my throat.
"Hardin." I don't know what to say. I know I want him. I know I crave for us to be more. But isn't this too fast? And he doesn't have the best track record when it comes to women.
He leans forward, nose brushing mine, but he keeps our lips from touching, just out of my reach. His forehead bumps my own, and I have to close my eyes and take a deep breath.

I am writing this because I fell in love with Hardin Scott and hate all the drama between him and Tessa, (So many red flags.) and because there are not a lot of fanfiction written. I hope those who find this enjoy it as much as I did while writing. This will follow the movies for the most part.
