Summary
A few years after graduating from UA, Bakugou Katsuki is just 'okay'. The war is over, the battle won (at too high a cost), and he's a pro hero- a good one, but not the best. He's haunted by his perceived shortcomings, especially by the mystery of the disappearance of the quirkless university student he once called his friend. They hadn't talked in years, but the complete and utter mystery of his extremely suspect disappearance weighs heavily on his mind.
The case had long since gone cold and they feared the worst until a chance conversation with Shinsou about a case he's working on and a chance encounter on the beach with a handsome stranger in the dark ends with hooking up in a fishing shack, teeth in his neck, and a whispered "sorry Kacchan" right before he passes out. He's left with a killer hangover, some hazy memories, and DNA evidence that Midoriya Izuku is alive and well-- and has somehow developed a vampirism quirk. Seeking answers will lead them both into more danger than Izuku is willing to put him in, but Bakugou was never one for backing down from a challenge- especially with Izuku involved.
