“Alastor?” Angel asked softly, not pulling his hand away but not pressing any harder on it either. “You alright?”
It took a minute but Alastor eventually relaxed, shoulders slumping a bit. “Just fine.” He said, trying hard to actually sound the way he said he felt. Angel could tell by the way his breath hitched just a bit.
“You sure? I'll stop-” Angel moved to pull his hand away when Alastor quickly shook his head.
“I said I'm fine.”
