Summary
Seong Gi-hun has waited three years to return to the island after making it out with the skin of his teeth—desperate to put an end to the games that treat innocents no better than cattle. He's prepared; numerous backup, a tracker in his tooth, and a plan in motion. Though there are complications, he has hope that things will work, even if it's the last thing he ever does.
But he fails. More people die, though this time at his own hands. The only opportunity he's given to turn things around is by the very man he wants nothing more than to destroy. Who wants him as an accomplice to further bloodshed at the consequential sparing of his friends. But does he truly have a choice?
