Summary
Matt is so mad at himself for having to be told about Tom's suffering from the black-eyed man himself instead of seeing it himself. He might not be as traditionally smart as someone like Tord but he always prided himself on his ability to read others emotionally. He knew Tom's alcoholism was bad but he didn't know about Tom's self-deprecation. A plan starts to form in his mind.
