After ensuring that Vee was functioning properly, she and Shelly got on the animatronic dinosaur and rode off into the sunset. How romantic. Instead of returning to Gardenview, they stopped at the Natural History Museum to look at dinosaur skeletons. A fatal mistake. Not for them, of course, but for the other toons.
Meanwhile, back at Gardenview, more toons were in danger of being harmed by Shrimpo's murder arc. After noticing Vee's disappearance (and presumed death,) Rodger put himself in charge of the murder investigation. The last he had seen, Shelly was carrying Vee out of the elevator, and she appeared to be dead. Her screen was off, she wasn't moving, and she was smoking a bit from short-circuiting. It smelled like burning computer parts as they left. As he was about to interview people to ask if they knew who killed Vee, Tisha came up to him, looking quite traumatized.
"Rodger. Poppy and Looey are dead!!!" she exclaimed. "I was vacuuming the bedrooms, and I went into their rooms, and..."
"Two more murders?"
"I found thumbtacks in their beds. So yes. They wouldn't put those there, so they were definitely murdered."
He called an emergency meeting.
"I HATE EMERGENCY MEETINGS!!" Shrimpo yelled.
"Well, too damn bad!" Rodger said.
Vee and Shelly walked back into Gardenview to see the other toons caught up in a panic.
"There's an imposter among us!" someone yelled.
"Vee. You're back. Who killed you?" Rodger asked.
"It was-" Vee started. Suddenly, she crashed.
In the corner of the room, Shrimpo had sent her a virus.
"Aw, fuck." Vee went to her room to delete the virus from her hard drive, and Shelly, the only other person who knew who it was, went with her to help.
The next day, Scraps and Goob were in the dining area eating food, when suddenly, Goob began to choke on his juice.
"Oh no!" Scraps cried, holding her brother as he lost consciousness. "Hang in there, bro!"
"Sis, I've been poisoned!" Goob exclaimed, embracing his sister.
She picked him up and carried him to med bay, but before they could get there, he died in her arms.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she exclaimed. "I'll avange you, Goob!"
Scraps ran out of Gardenview and drove to the black market store to buy gun parts. She'd make a cutesy kawaii DIY gun to get revenge on whoever killed her brother.
