The street is quiet, almost unnervingly so. It's the kind of silence that settles deep into your bones, the kind that stretches on forever. It's late, too late for most to be out, and the holidays only make it worse. Chan can feel the emptiness in the air, an echo of the times he used to have with the hyungs—when everything was just a little brighter, when they filled up the space around him without trying.But now, they’re gone. Not physically—no, they’re still there, in the practice rooms, on stage, just out of reach. They’ve been gone emotionally for so long that Chan doesn’t even know what he’s missing anymore. He thought he'd learned to live with it, to be alone without feeling so... lonely. But then they came back.
One fateful confession ,a loud shutter from a camera—too many feelings, all tangled up—and suddenly, the walls Chan built to protect himself come crashing down.
