“I don’t normally do this sort of thing.” There was a pause. Pandora was very much someone who liked doing things in her comfort zone. Going to the museum on her own was one of those things as long as it was quiet or she had her headphones, but things had turned out differently this time. Not that Pandora was complaining.
“What sort of thing?” Asked Lily and Pandora finally looked at her again, biting the inside of her cheek to hold back the smile and hide her nerves. It wasn’t working.
“Go for drinks with insanely beautiful women I meet in museums.” As soon as the words left her, Pandora’s stomach dropped. What if she’d misunderstood? What if Lily was just trying to make a new friend? What if Lily thought she was weird and was already planning an escape?
“Oh.” Fuck.
“Unless that's not…is this not…oh my god.” Pandora could feel her heart racing as she hid her face with her hands. She felt like an idiot.
