Summary
Yesterday the Bioware writers were all fired. In honor of Bioware writers and to put an end to my thinking of Veilguard at all, I’m choosing to write an alternate universe headcanon that will ignore Trespasser and Veilguard.
The name Ashel Telhim comes from two elvish phrases: “Asha’belannar” means “The Woman of Many Years” and “Ir tel’him” means “I’m me again.”
As a woman of many years who wishes to be herself again on the subject of Dragon Age, it seemed fitting. Ashel for me is my choice to express women in a plural form by making up elven grammar. This story will be driven by fictional women who also wish to be themselves again.
“Tel’him” in English as Tell Him was too much to ask me to pass over in wordplay.
This begins somewhere after the end of Inquisition and the death of Flemeth, shortly after the Inquisitor’s spy network has provided the information that Solas is Fen’harel.
