Chapter Text
Prologue: Kirari Momobami’s Big Problem
Kirari Momobami feared nothing.
She could manipulate anyone, control the Momobami clan with ease, and turn her opponents’ lives into mere playthings.
But there was one thing that made her completely lose control.
Sayaka Igarashi.
Her loyal, organized, dedicated secretary… and ridiculously captivating.
The problem?
Kirari had no idea how to confess.
Not because she feared rejection.
But because, if she tried anything too direct, Sayaka would probably have a mental breakdown right then and there.
And after two years of this internal torture, Kirari decided to ask for help.
From Ririka.
After all, her sister had been dating Mary Saotome for only a few months and already seemed to know everything about love.
Chapter 1: Asking for Help (and Hating It)
Kirari never asked anyone for help.
But that afternoon, she entered Ririka’s room with an unusually serious look.
Ririka was sitting on her bed, reading a book, when she looked up at her sister.
— What is it? You never show up out of nowhere without a good reason.
Kirari sighed, crossing her arms.
— I have a problem.
Ririka frowned.
— What? Did someone challenge you and now wants to gamble their own life?
— No.
— Kirari, do you have some insane plan that could destroy the school?
— Not this time.
Ririka narrowed her eyes.
— Okay… then what’s the problem?
Kirari took a deep breath.
— I’m in love with Sayaka Igarashi.
The room fell silent.
Ririka blinked.
— Wait… Hasn’t it been TWO years already?!
Kirari rolled her eyes.
— Yes, and so what?
— AND SO WHAT?! — Ririka slammed her book shut. — You’ve spent TWO YEARS playing with the girl and still haven’t confessed?!
Kirari shrugged.
— I’m a gambler, little sister. Patience is part of the process.
Ririka held her forehead, incredulous.
— Kirari, you might be the best gambler in the world, but in love, you’re an IDIOT.
Kirari widened her eyes.
— What?! Me?!
Ririka took a deep breath and crossed her arms.
— Listen, I’ve been dating Mary for a few months now. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that playing with someone’s feelings only makes things more complicated.
Kirari raised an eyebrow.
— And you think I should just go up to Sayaka and say ‘Hello, I’m madly in love with you’ and that’s it?
— Yes! — Ririka exclaimed.
Kirari laughed.
— If I did that, Sayaka would literally faint right in front of me.
Ririka paused to think.
Okay… Kirari had a point.
Sayaka idolized Kirari so intensely that if the president actually confessed directly, there was a high chance the girl would suffer a nervous breakdown.
— Okay, then you need to be careful. — Ririka sighed. — But you need to DO SOMETHING, because I can’t stand watching you flirt randomly with her and pretending nothing is happening anymore!
Kirari rested her chin on her hand, thoughtful.
— What do you suggest?
Ririka smiled.
— Let’s play a game.
Kirari raised an eyebrow.
— I like where this is going.
Ririka got up and grabbed a deck of cards from the table.
— If I win, you have to confess to Sayaka by the end of the week.
Kirari smirked.
— And if I win?
— You can postpone it for another month.
Kirari chuckled.
— Tempting.
She picked up a card and placed it on the table.
But Ririka won the round.
Kirari blinked.
— Was that luck or cheating?
— It was fate. Now keep your promise.
Kirari sighed dramatically.
— I really created a cruel little sister.
But deep down… she knew Ririka was right.
Chapter 2: The Accidentally Dramatic Confession
Two days later, Kirari finally decided to act.
She found Sayaka on the school rooftop, organizing some papers and reviewing documents.
Kirari approached silently, watching her.
Why was she so beautiful even when she was focused?
Sayaka noticed the president’s presence and immediately became nervous.
— P-President! I… wasn’t expecting to see you here.
Kirari smiled.
— Sayaka… do you trust me?
The girl blinked, confused.
— Of course! More than anyone!
Kirari smirked.
— Great. Then close your eyes.
Sayaka hesitated for a moment but obeyed.
Kirari took a step forward… and kissed her.
It was quick, light, but intense enough to leave Sayaka completely frozen.
When Kirari pulled away, Sayaka still had her eyes closed.
Silence.
And then…
Sayaka fainted.
Kirari caught her before she hit the ground.
She chuckled softly.
— I warned Ririka this would happen.
Chapter 3: The Chaotic Relationship Begins
When Sayaka woke up, she was lying on Kirari’s lap.
Her face was as red as a tomato.
— I… I…
Kirari laughed, gently stroking her hair.
— I think I just confessed.
Sayaka covered her face with her hands.
— Oh my God, I fainted?!
— Yes. It was adorable.
Sayaka wanted to disappear.
— I’m a disaster.
Kirari lifted her chin delicately.
— You’re perfect.
Sayaka froze.
— So… what does this mean?
Kirari smiled.
— It means you’re mine now, Sayaka Igarashi.
Sayaka covered her face again.
— I think I’m going to faint again…
Kirari laughed.
And just like that, after two years of hesitation, Kirari Momobami finally achieved her “perfect game.”
Epilogue: Ririka Was Right (Unfortunately)
Later that night, Kirari found Ririka in her room and threw a pillow at her.
— You won.
Ririka laughed.
— So, are you two dating now?
Kirari rolled her eyes.
— Yes. But Sayaka fainted in the process.
Ririka burst out laughing.
Kirari sighed, throwing herself onto the bed.
— You are unbearable when you’re right, older sister. I should have confessed a long time ago.
Ririka smirked.
— And you’re unbearable when you’re in love.
Kirari just laughed.
Because, for the first time in a long time… she was truly happy.
[THE END.]
