Chapter Text
Background:
Green (male) and Blue (female) are in their early to mid twenties. Green was the Viridian City gym leader for a time, but got bored for lack of serious challengers and quit to pursue research. Green currently works at the Pallet Pokemon Lab and is working on his doctorate. Blue has been up to who-knows-what, but keeps in touch with her parents and Silver. Red has been away traveling for some time, and no one knows for sure where he is.
A Surprise Visit
Squinting, Green attempted to make sense of his own chicken-scratch handwriting. Just as he managed to decipher the first few lines of his research notes, a warm breeze blew through the room. The front door of the laboratory swung open, letting in the blinding, midday sunlight, and revealing a female figure Green recognized at a glance. Oh, no. I don't have time for this, he thought, quickly looking back to his notebook. Waltzing through the middle of the Pallet Pokemon Lab, Blue stopped in front of Green's desk and flashed him a wicked grin. Here comes trouble, he thought, still looking at his papers. The entire lab staff watched on, their work completely forgotten the moment Blue walked through the door. Finally, Green looked up from his notes with an exasperated sigh.
"What do you want?" Green questioned. Whatever it is, it can't be good, he thought.
"I found him," Blue replied, leaning on his desk with her arms crossed.
"Who?" Green asked, already guessing at the answer.
"Red," She said plainly, her smile widening. Green glanced back at his notes.
"Come on, don't you want to know?" Blue taunted.
"I'm busy," was all he offered in reply.
"You're no fun at all!" Blue sighed as she snatched a pen and paper from Green's desk. After scribbling a quick note, she left the page next to his notebook and turned to leave.
"If you change your mind, come find me," Blue said, giving a casual wave as she walked away.
"Hey wait, that's my...pen," Green trailed off, but Blue was already gone.
