The winds blow cold air throughout the city apartment and chuuya is caught in a unexpected cold.

It's not like for chuuya to get sick. his former body is a mere experiment and a replication of human life which was the reason why he was able to withstand so much exhaustion without getting ill, But in this life? His body is truly human.
He's not used to the vulnerability, so when he felt a cold pushing through during one of his intense study sessions. he continued studying with the thought it would go away in a matter of a few days, oh boy was he wrong.
This cold has been with him for a week with sigma finally catching on 2 days prior "where do you think your going?" The taller man asked the shorter, frowning with one of his eye brows raised
"School, we have a long test this morning i can't-" Chuuya let's out a sickly cough, his hands moving to cover his month. "-Miss it."
sigma's gaze softens, noticing how pale chuuya has become. The ginger's movements are weak and slow as he packs his school bag for the day ahead but sigma can't simply allow him to go with him in this state, so sigma quickly snatches chuuya's bag and pushes him to his bed.
"You are definitely not going to school in this state chu, i mean have you looked at yourself honey?" Chuuya insists despite sigma's protests, grabbing his bag away from him and weakly looks up at his dear friend, quickly notices His friends concern "it's okay sig,,I'll be fine, this won't kill me anyways so it's not that bad"
"Just because you can handle it doesn't mean I'll allow you to do so" without warning, sigma's forces chuuya back to bed expecting for the ginger to protest but surprisingly, he gives in. "I wish you told me you felt sick prior. i know your a prideful workaholic but for Godsakes chuuya. it doesn't kill to inform us, does it?"
Signa continues to scold chuuya, while simultaneously trying to check for his temperature. A shadowed figure then gradually approaches the two and the the taller man turns around to see his other roommate, Akutagawa.
Ryuu is supposed to go to his business class around this time but today he flops next to his close friend sigma, silently observing chuuya "don't bother Sigs, Chuuya has and will always be this stubborn" Ryuu says with a high and lays his hand on chuuya's thigh
"Hey you pricks! I'm not that stubborn, most of the time anyways" chuuya shrinks as he tries to fight theunbearable amount of cold brushing his body
"yeah yeah but Sigma is right chuuya besides, this isn't your body from the other world. It can't handle the amount of stress your putting on it nowadays" Ryuu says softly in a surprising matured tone.
Ever since the two were pulled into a younger version of themselves in a completely different world. it felt as though it was a fresh start, although at first they tried to find multiple ways to go back.
Their last attempt ended in Akutagawa and chuuya quickly being admitted to the hospital, the two blurred the lines between being alive or dead but in the end, they both came back alive with their families at their bed side sobbing with relief, they swore to never try killing themselves after that.
In a way though, this world helped Akutagawa finally grow into himself. His stolen childhood was returned and he was able to live a normal life like he was supposed to.
Of course the storyline of him and his sister being orphans didn't change, but what was surprising was the fact it was Rimbaud that took them in full heartedly when they were but wee little kids.
In a way, it was Rimbaud that encouraged him to open up and showed him that being vulnerable wasn't a weakness but instead a strength that was a apart of him, something no one should be ashamed of.
Since then Akutagawa grew into a more calm, reserved but confident person, of course his angery outbursts and insecurities still exist similarly with chuuya but its definitely much different from who he was prior to coming here, it's what makes the ginger guiltyly love this place even more.
So chuuya gives into the comfort of his two friends, allows them to scold him and worry about him even if it goes a little overboard. in the end, the three of them excuse themselves for a day off their classes to accompany one another.
