Hi, I'm Gabrielle, and my story began many years ago, when I was a little girl. I didn't really have any friends. Sure there were people that I knew, but none of them were ones that I could really call friend. I didn't really fit in... anywhere. As such I wasn't very happy back then. That was until my 7th birthday, the day that would lead to the best time of my life.
Until, almost two years later, two months away from my birthday, I lost my Guardians in an accident, and since then I've been living at an orphanage, where I would spend the next ten years of my life.
Today is March 1st, the anniversary of the accident, a reminder of the worst day of my life. I started the day like I did every year; I woke up, ate breakfast, and got ready for my yearly walk, all while keeping a smile on my face. But when I left to start my walk, my smile fell as my mind began to wonder. During that time I thought about my childhood, to before the accident, to the best times of my life, to all the friends I gained that made them so special, and to all the people that I... lost. I began to cry at that thought, it was a silent cry. I stopped walking and tried to think about something else, anything other than the pain I've been hiding in for years. It was at that moment I notice something out of the corner of my eye; I looked over and saw that I was in front of the old shutdown Playtime factory, right outside the gate.
'Why did I end up here?' I wondered. 'I haven't come by here since...' I look away and started to walk again.
But I only went a few steps before I stopped, something stopping me from going any further, and look back towards the factory. 'Why does it feel like somethings calling me there?' I wonder, looking back towards the gates, specifically at it's lock, and it's ... unlocked?!
I quickly glance around to see if anyone is looking, but... there's nobody around. I look back at the unlocked gate and shrug. 'Eh why not, it could be fun to take a look around the place,' I think, 'And who knows, maybe I'll... finally get the answers I'm looking for.' I unhook the lock, slip past the gates, and enter the factory.
Little did I know that this decision would change my life... forever.
