Loud, sorrowful sobs heard from the bathroom door at 3AM something - doesn’t matter.
Such a shame no one can hear them sobs! Anyway,
Aventurine crumbles before a broken mirror - he broke it.
He’s not crying about how badly he hurt his hand. He’s crying because it wasn’t enough to make him feel anything, he’s been numb for too long, eventually frustrated.
The Stoneheart leaves the bathroom and heads for liquor - his best buddy. (how pathetic)
How much is enough for a young adult to black out? How unhealthy can one be..
Well he’ll doesn’t know, can’t think at the moment - he’s already wasted and effortlessly sleeps and the kitchen chair.
He forgot about the wounds he was supposed to take care of, thats odd, he promised a certain doctor that he would at least try to do that.
How lower can he go?

It’s a Sunday morning, 8:54AM exactly. A tall man with indigo hair has been up for two hours already, not wasting time for any crap he started his day with a shower, healthy protein filled breakfast to then work out for exactly 30 minutes, only later to take a bath with his favourite rubber ducks and a book or whatever to keep his mind occupied.
In a minute he should get a message from a certain gambler, who was supposed to take care of himself, to sleep for 6 hours at least, to not self-harm, to just do basic needs for yourself. (it’s sad how many struggle with basic self care)
Exactly 8:56AM.
Ratio texts Aventurine.
Ratio:“Have you woken up yet?”
He then looks at the blond man icon.
Aventurine was active 6 hours ago
You’ve got to be kidding him!!!
They have talked about this, he was clean for some time now… maybe he just went to sleep late.

A loud groan.
What time is it? He looks at his expensive, all gold, so fancy, glamorous watch.
He cannot read whatever is on it, his vision is blurry, and he felt like he’s about to explode, his head pounded like crazy and he felt like throwing up.
He went to the bathroom, almost falling over clothes and bags on the floor. He’s more clumsy than ever.
Threw up, he’s familiar with all of that, but it has been some time since he did.
“Ugaghghhh, Ratio is gonna be mad…” he mumbled to himself and flushed the toilet.
Then looked at the mirror, and at his hand, and at the mirror again.
What was even the reason he did that?? He doesn’t remember.
“Ratio.. is going to be… Ah! I forgot to text him, nononono..” he rushed out of the bathroom.
He heard meows under his feet.
He needs to feed the cats too, did he feed them yesterday? (He did, he just doesn’t remember)
Aventurine freezes in place and just wants to cry, he messed up so bad!!! Why did he do such stupid things yesterday? So stupid, so stupid…. He clenches his fists and tightens his jaw.
Like a stiff robot he looks for his phone.
10AM something, he doesn’t care what time it is.

he immediately checks on the messages

Exactly 10:28AM
Doctor was done with grading university papers, his students have done a good job! Surprisingly..
one new notification
Aventurine: Hi doctr
Ratio: Did you sleep well?
Aventurine: Im fien
he sure isn’t… it kinda hurts Ratio that he’d rather lie than to be honest with him
Ratio: What happened?
Aventurine: hand hurts
Ratio: did something happen to your hand? I’ll be on my way, don’t do anything stupid before i arrive

He feels so bad, now he remembers everything.
He was triggered by taking part in some IPC family event. He was only needed there because he was the only Stoneheart at Pier Point, not on a mission.
Being forced to talk with curious kids and telling them to never go into their parents idea of becoming an IPC employee in the most fairy tail way possible so that adults don’t understand what he’s saying was his favorite part of this crap.
So many happy families.. why did they do this to him, Diamond knows his past, everyone heard rumors, everyone knows that he is not coming to any family parties with anybody.
He’s all alone, the last one standing, not even his clan there for him.
He sobs silently, his cats lay near him, he can’t even pet them, his hands hurt.
Does anyone care for him?
