   Summary

   Rey never came to Jakku. Instead, she was raised deep in the swamps of Nal Hutta, with no exposure to any language other than Huttese. The bond between Ben and Rey opens when Ben is in school and Rey is just a child. Although they are unable to speak at first, Ben finds himself trying to teach Rey about the Force. Rey blossoms under his teaching. But Nal Hutta is not a safe place for anybody, no matter how strong they are with the Force.
