Summary
James expected the day the Hamiltons arrived from London to be one of the happiest days of his life. The start of a new, brighter future. Unfortunately, when an errant troublemaker steals paintings from their home, James finds his perfect day ruined. To make matters worse, once the thief is caught, Thomas and Miranda decide to employ the man, John Silver, as their cook. Begrudgingly, James accepts Silver into their home and his daily life. However, at some point during Silver's ninety day contract, James begins to wonder if that first day had been a blessing all along.
