Tartaglia pretends not to be insulted, even though insulting him is exactly what she's doing. "She will think I'm not a threat. You get to have sex with me. A perfectly amiable deal." Arlecchino explains. "If not, I will find someone else, but I would prefer not to be so exposed in front of one of these ridiculous people."
"Well, that's one way to get me to agree," Tartaglia says. "But, um, I'm not exactly known for my subtlety."
