Pinkie Pie was many things, but she wasn't stupid, contrary to what many people thought. Sure, she was a bit oblivious, but she was way smarter than people tended to give her credit for.
And she could tell that she'd been left behind.
She'd been really excited to show Rainbow Dash a new prank, but he had so easily brushed her off to go hang out with Gilda.
Pinkie Pie tried to be understanding, she really did. After all, Gilda was an old friend of Rainbow's, and they hadn't seen each other in forever.
Still, he'd brushed Pinkie off so fast...
She tried to ignore the ache in her stomach and the feeling of ice water being dumped over her as she slowly walked back to her home in Ponyville. She could show Rainbow the prank later, when he wasn't busy.
...It just hurt, a lot.
