The room was filled with light buzzing sounds as the ammonite was shuffling around on the mattress trying to find a comfortable enough spot, but she didn't want to move much because she was afraid that she would wake vee up beside her. Shelly sighed as she noticed a flickering green light, crap did she move too much?. Shelly thought, the tv shuffled herself around to face Shelly. "Shelly are you alright?" Vee asked in a comforting tone.
"Ah!, yeah I am..sorry did I wake you up?" Shelly smiled nervously as she fidgeted the corner of the blanket. "You didn't wake me up, don't worry." "Ah..that's a relief.." Shelly chuckled as vee looked at the clock. "It's 2 am why are you still awake?" Vee says, her eyebrow raising up abit. "I couldn't really find a comfortable sleeping spot.." Shelly muttered out, vee smiled warmly as she shuffled around the sheets, opening her arms to Shelly. Shelly knew what's she was trying to do and laughs.
"You know you don't have to do this for me right?" "Yeah, but I still want to." Vee says as her arms remain at the same position. waiting for Shelly, Shelly eventually gives in as she shuffled closer to the tv, vees arm closed around her as Shelly felt the cold metal touching her, Shelly's arm wrapped around vees waist. Vee felt herself heating up abit so she turned on her fans to cook her down, she felt the soft--rthymic breathing sounds from Shelly. It felt, so comforting.
Vee sighed deeply, she took one of her hands and began stroking the rough texture of the ammonites head, tracing her fingers around the edges, she never expected for Shelly's head to be this rough actually. But regardless it still felt comforting for her, Shelly felt her eyelids grow heavier by the second, her shoulder eventually easing down as her breathing became more soft and steady. Eventually falling asleep.
"Shelly?" Vee mumbled, getting no response. She retracted her body abit to see ethe ammonite more clearly, she saw Shelly sleeping. She chuckled lightly as she retracted back her body for Shelly's head to be resting up against vees head, vee stroked Shelly's head one last time as her screen dimmed, muttering out the words in a soft tone.
"sweet dreams, Shelly."
