Summary
Penelope Featherington is just shy of her 22nd birthday, but she's lived more life than most people could imagine. She's on a full-ride academic scholarship, but still has to wait tables to pay rent and keep food in the fridge. One night, after a huge fight with her mom, Pen finds herself out on her own without a place to live. After initially letting the Bridgerton family help, she's determined to stand on her own feet, and makes a decision she'll regret forever.
