It’s not creepy to sneak onto the back balcony of Miss Sonia’s cottage and peer through the window, Soda argues with himself, it’s security. He’s simply worried, you know, it’s late and he noticed that across the water, only the one room was lit, and — okay, maybe it’s a little creepy, but it’s not like it’s perverse!
He’s just checking in on her, honest, balancing on the netting that stretches under her cottage to grip the windowsill and haul just enough of himself up to peek in.
