“Look at this one, Killua!” Gon beamed, holding up a coral scalloped seashell with pride.
He galloped towards the paler boy, stumbling through the damp sand while waves washed over his bare feet. A goofy grin covered his bronzed face. The setting sun sat behind him like a second golden aura. Killua shook his head in endearment, gazing ahead with starry eyes.
“Add it to the collection,” he mewed, holding out a half-filled bucket of shells.
Gon tossed it in before rising to his tiptoes and planting a kiss on Killua’s pinkish cheek. Killua ruffled his hair with a smile.
