The water churned, the ship rocking gently in the aftermath of the struggle, but there was no sign of Silver or Espio.
Blaze felt something in her chest coil, tight and cold.
Vector scratched the back of his head. “…Well, that ain’t good.”
Knuckles, to his credit, looked troubled. “Espio can handle himself,” he said, though the usual certainty in his voice was not quite there.
Blaze clenched her jaw. Her grip on her saber tightened. “That isn’t the point,” she said, voice low, measured, betraying nothing. “They are missing. And I do not tolerate losing my crew.”
