    All Harvey could think about was that he failed, failed to save Mike, failed to do the right thing. It should be him facing his last night as a free man, not Mike.
    He’d planned to call him, to ask him to come over so that they could talk properly and come up with a solid plan. In all the weeks since Mike was dragged off the office they’d never talked about it, of course they’d spoken, they argued and they’d planned for the trial. But they’d never properly talked; not about what they would do if it actually went wrong, if they didn’t win, if the worst happened.

    In a last ditch attempt to get Mike to change his mind, Harvey does something he swore he'd never be able to do. But Mike still goes to prison and now they've got to deal with it.
