I remember how we spent afternoons after school bickering and eating ridiculous amounts of ice cream right out of the tub. I remember how we spent sleepless nights lying on our backs out in the backyard, trying to connect the stars.
I was too young, too naive, and too stupid to realize that one day we were all going to grow up. And when we did, reality grabbed hold of me and slapped me hard across the face.
