“Is this just a game to you?”
Severus put down his quill and looked up at his lover,
“What would be the game?”
Harry had been pacing while he graded and turned to him with a scowl,
“Us! You never want anyone to know about us!”
Severus pinched the bridge of his nose,
“I’m a private person. Yet, I have never explicitly said not to tell anyone.”
Harry plopped down on the seat in front of his desk, head in his hands.
“Earlier…”
“Earlier a nosey reporter asked if we were together. I said no, because you should have the right to tell your family first, not let them find out we’re in love by Rita Skeeter of all people.”
Harry grinned through his fingers.
“We’re in love?”
Severus felt the flush up his neck,
“I..had assumed?”
Harry leaned over the desk and gave him a chaste kiss.
“Yes, we’re in love.”
“Good, now go tell your family while I grade. Then we’ll tell the Wizarding World.”
